New Beginnings

I am so excited to be launching my blog website! This has been one of many bucket list items for several years. As with many of my grandiose ideas, I have discovered that so much of this new technology takes a lot of research to figure out how things work and how to use it. All of which takes a lot of time that I don’t have to spend on a computer. If you know me at all, you know that I am a woman of many projects at all times. I have been that way since high school. I seem to thrive on making myself crazy with a to do list. So I am more than excited to be crossing this one off my list as accomplished!

So that being said, I say “welcome”! The purpose of this blog is to share what I have learned about life, family, faith and creating a place of refuge for my family – that place we call home. It is my prayer that what you read here will always be encouraging and uplifting in a way that will motivate you to higher heights and enhance your life and family. If nothing else, perhaps it will challenge you to be the best that you can be. I hope you will subscribe to my blog and help me by sharing it with your friends and family and encourage them to subscribe as well. I will be posting stories and ideas several times a week, therefore, if you subscribe you will be sure not to miss anything.

If you haven’t heard, I have just finished writing a book that I have been working on for a couple of years. Not that it took that long to write, just that I only wrote when I could run away from home by myself in order to write. Unfortunately that hasn’t happened that often so it has taken a while. God had put a spark in my heart this past year to finish the book so it became a more urgent matter. Not to mention that my memory as I get older is starting to deteriorate. Anyone know what that is like? So I am proud to say that it is complete and actually got approved by Christian Faith Publishing to be published. I am finding however, that the process is not as quick as I’d like it to be. I am now officially in stage one with them and have been assigned a project manager who will be my liaison with each team of every stage. It looks like for the moment we are looking at about 5 months before the book is released. I will be keeping you informed as we move through each stage and sharing that journey with you as well. You will be the first to know when the release date will be!

You will be able to make comments and interact with me along the way, so feel free to ask questions and share your thoughts as well. Comments will have to go through an approval system before they are made public, as I am told by my tech guy that I will probably receive a lot of spam. I guess it is in everything we do these days!
